Role Overview
As our Junior HR Generalist, you will work side-by-side with the HR Manager as a core operator across all human resources functions. This is a hands-on, high-impact role ideal for an energetic HR professional looking to gain broad, end-to-end experience in a dynamic digital media environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Talent Acquisition & Onboarding
- Screen resumes, conduct initial phone screenings, and coordinate interview schedules with hiring managers.
- Draft and post job descriptions across relevant job boards and social media channels (LinkedIn, Wuzzuf, etc.).
- Lead seamless onboarding experiences for new hires, including orientation schedules, welcome packages, and paperwork completion.
- Employee Relations & Culture
- Serve as the primary point of contact for day-to-day employee inquiries regarding company policies, benefits, and workplace logistics.
- Assist in organizing internal team-building activities, engagement events, and company-wide initiatives.
- Help gather and track employee feedback to continuously improve company culture.
- HR Administration & Compliance
- Maintain up-to-date physical and digital employee files in compliance with local Egyptian Labor Law and internal standards.
- Manage end-to-end Social Insurance processes, including registering new hires (Form 1), de-registering exiting staff, and liaising directly with the Social Insurance Office to ensure 100% compliance with Egyptian Social Insurance Law.
- Track attendance, leave balances, sick days, and working hours for monthly payroll processing.
- Assist in preparing monthly HR data and metrics reports for leadership.
- Performance & Learning Support
- Assist in coordinating the annual/semi-annual performance review process.
- Help identify team training needs and organize learning workshops or development resources.
What you need
Qualifications & Requirements
- Experience: 1–2 years of experience in an HR role (internships or junior generalist experience).
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, Law, or a related field.
- Knowledge: Familiarity with Egyptian Labor Law, Social Insurance, and general HR best practices.
- Communication: Exceptional written and spoken command of both Arabic and English.
- Tech Skills: Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and Google Workspace; experience with HR software is a plus.
- Attributes: High emotional intelligence, discretion with confidential information, strong multitasking abilities, and a proactive problem-solving mindset.
